external link not opening in new tab

    i allow the setting open external link new tabs, but the header social media links are not opening in new tabs, can u guys help me

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    All the links seem to work as expected when I click on them and they open on a new tab. Inspecting the links also shows that they have a target “_blank” assigned as shown below:

    Hi Abhijit,

    Sorry about the confusion but the open in new tab option only works for links placed inside the content using the WP Editor.

    It is not added to links in the header, footer, or the sidebar.
