Exporting Meta descriptions edit them and import it again

    Hi Rank Mathers,

    Let me first start with a compliment. Your plug in has some features i looked for quite a long time. I am a Yoast fan, but might change in the near future 😉

    I tried several options in woocommerce, wordpress, with a variety of plugins and i’ve been surfing the web for 5 hours now, but didn’t find an answer whith an easy and understandable solution for me.

    My question
    I want to export all the Rank Math meta descriptions and titles. I want to change/improve them in a text editor and after that change import (or rather update) them again in woocommerce. So let’s say it’s a bulk edit.

    I can export woocommerce data, but no Rank Math data is included. I have the wp_all_export and import pro plugin, but also i can’t find (nor in custom fields) a specified field with this meta description data. I have read a lot of topics regarding in- en exporting, but none is concerned this particular feature.

    Can you point me out in a certain direction, please.

    About your question, those fields are saved as custom fields in the database and so you should be able to use any third party CSV plugin to export the values assigned to your posts. Are they not appearing for you?

    You are very welcome! Thanks for your quick reply, even on a sunday. Can you tell me what the names of these custom fields are? This morning i only saw two fields, i see more right now (don’t ask me why ;-)). I think rank_math_description is the one, isn’t it? Do i miss one below?

    rank_math_title
    rank_math_description
    rank_math_focus_keyword
    rank_math_facebook_title
    rank_math_twitter_title
    rank_math_robots
    rank_math_twitter_use_facebook

    Hi Rob,

    I would love to answer those:

    1. rank_math_primary_product_cat is primary category that will be used in breadcrumbs if a post is assigned to more than one categories.

    2. rank_math_title – This is the SEO title.
    3. rank_math_description – SEO Neta Description.
    4. rank_math_focus_keyword – Focus keyword you want to set.

    You do not need to worry about the rest as they derive their value from the above values.
