Rank Math is telling me I’m not using Expire Headers for images.
But my .htaccess clearly shows them:

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hi James,
You have not included your website URL.
Please add that.
Alternatively, please run your website through this tool and it will tell you what assets from your website are not being cached:
https://www.giftofspeed.com/cache-checker/Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Hello,
I checked your site here: https://www.giftofspeed.com/cache-checker/ and the URLs that are not cached are from external scripts like Google Tag Manager/Analytics.
There is usually nothing you can do to fix that since they are external scripts and you cannot cache them in any way.
I tried adding the following to your .htaccess to see if it makes some difference but site went to 500 error when saving
# One month for most static assets <filesMatch “.(css|jpg|jpeg|png|gif|js|ico)$”> Header set Cache-Control “max-age=2628000, public” </filesMatch>
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
That explains why my site was generating a 500 error this morning and it took a while to get it right.
I have removed the offending code and things seem to be ok again now.I’ll just ignore the warning message in this case.
