I just want to exclude a category from the category sitemap. The posts in thhis category should buntouched by this, just want tho getthecateroies out of the category sitemap.
Placing thecategory ID in Sitemap Settinngs / General / Exclud Posts doesn’t work. Any idea how to get this done?
Just see I have the same issue with pages. I can only exclude posts, not pages and categories.

We are glad to hear you were able to figure out the category option. I am assuming you have excluded the page too with the correct page ID.
You can also set the post to noindex which would also remove the page from the sitemap.
If the issue persists, please share the URL of the page you wish to exclude. We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

You can exclude a page from sitemap by setting it as noindex in rank math advanced tab or by adding it to be excluded in Rank math > Sitemap Settings:
