Exclude attachments from sitemap

    Hello,

    When i check the Exclude this attachment from sitemap the image still gets listed in the attachment-sitemap.xml and i have to use the advanced tab to check the No Index option which is not what i want!
    i do want the images to get indexed but i don’t want them to show in the attachment-sitemap.xml so that google will index the images but not the attachment URL which i belive it’s the whole point of you adding the Exclude this attachment from sitemap option in the first place 🙂

    For initial troubleshooting, please follow the steps below:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
