Event Rich Snippet with Event PLugin

Hi I am using an event plugin, Modern Events Calendar, to display events on my site fitevents.com

It provides rich snippet data for events when viewed through Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool. Rank Math appears to see event posts as events as well. Should I be filling out the rich snippet info in Rank Math or can I leave blank because the event plugin is providing this info? What is best practice? or should I turn off structured data info in the event plugin and only use Rank Math fields for event info? This would be more work but I feel like your plugin would perform better in search results.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

The event schema takes the same format and thus the data would be the same between the two plugins. I can suggest that you disable the Rank Math schema data on these posts and continue using the Event plugin schema.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
