error with reporting

    Using rankmath I am updating a page and it tells me I have errors. Including:

    1. Focus Keyword doesn’t appear at the beginning of your content

    2. Add an image with your focus keyword as alt text.

    Here is the page: https://www.muck-munchers.co.uk/septic-tank-cleaning-products/ – you will see that I have met the criteria above for both – Featured image is titled septic tank cleaning products and the keyword does appear at the beginning of the content.

    Please can you explain what I am missing – this is not the first time I have experienced this and its a little confusing and frustrating.

    I also have another problem showing similar issues:

    This page is the core product page on our site. Our KW volume is low, but that is the niche, however the keyword I am trying to optimise for is: Septic tank bacteria treatment.

    Bit if a shame about the URL, but not much I can do there. But I should be able to move a few stones elsewhere using rankmath (or I thought I might be able to).

    to be honest, I have experienced this with my own site, but have ignored, but this is my client site, and I now really want to understand what I am doing wrong so I can fix it)

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    The two issues would happen if you are using a page builder which is not compatible with Rank Math content analysis API. If this is the case the only way is to consult the theme devs team to add the content analysis API. Please confirm to us which Page builder you are using here. If you don’t mind we can as well check it directly from your site’s backend.

    Hi Brian,

    Thank you for replying. My site is (groan) elementor…my clients site is a built site in WP. It is very locked down and the devs are a nightmare for any kind of change and not SEO focused. They seem to look at £££ for anything that need changing, even though some may be basic for SEO!

    Do I just need to take it that I have done everything correctly and it will be read properly by search engines?

    Thank you for getting back to us.

    If you are using the Elementor then you should ensure that the content in the first paragraph has this keyword.

    Also, make sure that the content here is not dynamically generated for instance from a post archive element. Rank Math does not analyze such content as it may change at any time.

    However the image alt attribute you can add the featured image on the WordPress editor section, but on Elementor it will not be read.

    After all, these are just scores that are meant to guide you on performing on-page optimization. You may choose which analysis to go with but they are not meant to have an effect on your page’s ranking. We do recommend that you do not take them religiously at they are on-page SEO guides.
