error with Instant Indexing

    Hi Nigel,

    Could you verify what the fix for this was in 1.1.12? I downloaded that specific zip from the plugin site and it was still broken. When looking through the code where the PHP fatal is happening, its referencing a public function that only appears to be declared within your OTHER plugin (seo-by-rank-math), but nowhere within the fast-indexing plugin itself. Is that intentional?

    Basically what happens is, if you update fast-indexing before updating seo-by-rank-math to the newest version, it craps the bed. If you update seo-by-rank-math first, it appears to work fine.

    Yes, when Instant Indexing detects the Rank Math plugin, it activates some of the features which in this case, IndexNow.

    I tried replicating your current issue from my end and it seems I can update the instant indexing plugin first without any issue: https://i.rankmath.com/u4MO31

    Since you are still experiencing the issue with the latest version of Instant Indexing, we might need to further check the issue in your admin dashboard.

    Thanks for the response Jeremy, however this is for a client’s site that I freelance for and I’m not comfortable passing along that information. For now I’ll just use my hack-y workaround of updating RankMath first and Instant Indexing second.
