Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), we would need to discard a theme or plugins issue.

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

I just started having the same issue, in the middle of troubleshooting a plugin conflict with the new RankMath update.
I determined which plugin is causing the original error messages I’m receiving, but now I just started receiving the “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page” as I was reactivating my plugins one at a time.
It seems to be a false message, however, because each time I activated a plugin and received this message, the plugin still activated (I verified this by going back to the plugins section of my WP and checking).
