Can you please confirm if you are using a page builder to construct your content? Sometimes, Rank Math may not be able to read the content of some of the unsupported page builders.
If you are not using a page builder, please share the post URL here and take a screenshot of the SEO Content Analysis test along with your focus keyword so we can try to replicate the issue from our end.

It says I have 12 words when I have far more. It says the keyword isn’t in the post when it is. Please advise.

Seems like you are using Thrive on your site. There was a conflict between Thrive and our plugin that was causing some tests to fail. Thrive has released an update for their builder and theme with a fix for the issue.
