This error is usually caused by a corrupted or incomplete ZIP file that is downloaded from our server or by trying to update the Pro plugin while connected to a free account.
That said, I can see that you opened this ticket with a Free account but you’re trying to update Rank Math PRO – so perhaps you have multiple accounts, a FREE and a PRO account. Can you please find and send me the purchase receipt you got after purchasing Rank Math PRO? I can use the receipt to help locate your account.
But if you’re able to find your PRO account you can follow these steps to fix the issue:
- Visit the RankMath.com account page that has the Pro plan and double-check that it is the same account that is connected to your website. If it is not, you will need to disconnect and connect to the right account. I can also attempt to merge the two accounts if you let me know the email on both accounts and your preferred one.
- Download Rank Math Pro from your account and upload it manually to your WordPress site. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this here: https://rankmath.com/kb/update-rank-math-manually/
