I recently migrated from Yoast to Rank Math, but I’m now receiving an error message that’s preventing me from using the plugin. I’ve followed the standard setup process, but the issue persists. Could you please assist in resolving this?

Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing after migrating from Yoast to Rank Math. It sounds like there may be a conflict or an error that needs to be addressed. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:
-
Ensure All Plugins Are Updated: Make sure that Rank Math and all other plugins on your site are updated to their latest versions. Sometimes, older versions can cause compatibility issues.
-
Check for Conflicts: Deactivate all other plugins except for Rank Math and see if the error persists. If the error goes away, reactivate your plugins one by one to identify which one is causing the conflict.
-
Review Error Logs: Check your site’s error logs for any specific messages that might indicate what is going wrong. This can provide clues on how to resolve the issue.
-
Re-import Yoast Data: If you haven’t already, try re-importing your data from Yoast using the Import feature in Rank Math’s setup wizard. Make sure to deactivate Yoast before doing this.
-
Clear Cache: If you have any caching plugins or server-side caching, clear all caches to ensure that you’re seeing the most recent changes.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket with more details about the specific error message you are receiving, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.
Thank you for raising this concern!
Hello,
Could you please confirm where you are getting this error on your site? Is it while editing your posts/pages?
Meanwhile, Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), this can be caused by a conflicting plugin/theme with Rank Math.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hello Reinelle,
I’m still seeing the error in the post and pages of my site. I’ve installed and activated the Health Check plugin as you suggested and followed all the instructions.
Everything appeared fine after I activated the Theme. However, once I activated Rank Math, the error returned.
Could you Please Advise on the next steps?
Thank you,
