Error in required structured data element

    I also have similar problem after moving to Rank Math from Yoast recently. My home page shows GSC error “Error in required structured data element”

    GSC says “Sorry–no code highlighting available for this issue” when clicked on the error under Tested page/Html.

    Meanwhile, I did approach Amp for Wp plugin support. Their response is as follows:

    “We checked your issue. In your page, you are not adding an article schema or News article schema. Like this: https://prnt.sc/shcv0a

    Because in AMP pages the article schema or news article schema is adding by default. So can you please add an article schema or News article schema on your page?
    And let me know if the issue is solved or not”

    I think I have correctly set up the Rank Math plugin. Kindly assist.

    Hello,

    I checked the website but I was not able to find any error, not even in the Google Structured Data Testing Tool. Could you check if the issue is solved and if not, attach to the Sensitive Data section some screenshots of the error displayed in the Google Search Console so we can try to determine the cause of the issue?

    No, the issue still there. Trying hard by myself to resolve this issue. My traffic also started to drop. Well, I cannot blame Rank Math for it. Their efforts in resolving issues always great. Just hoping soon to get away with this problem. Anyone reading this topic has come across this issue before and have resolved please share. As we all part of the Rank Math team 🙂

    Hello,

    I saw in your image the Search Console you have an issue in the Structured Data, so I tried to check it in the Google Structured Data Debugger Tool but it doesn’t sow us any error: https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool#url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.noblehomeremedies.com%2Famp

    Could you try to find a more detailed message about the issue in the Search Console and show us it? Also, try to validate the page to see if it was a false positive, since the tool didn’t find any error in the current version of the page.

    What I get from GSC is “Sorry–no code highlighting available for this issue” which is not helpful at all.

    Meanwhile, I had this issue on all the pages (not posts). I added featured images to these pages and now green in amp validation. No errors.

    Now I have this Error only on the homepage. My setup for the homepage from WordPress dashboard is…

    Settings/Reading/…”Your Home Page Displays” to “Your latest posts”. I am using the Generatepress theme along with AMP for WP plugin.

    I changed the latest posts to show with 2 columns on the homepage so that the 1st image to show in full size. Today the errors are gone and GSC says it has started the validation.

    Sorry, I do not have a technical explanation for this. I did a trial and error approach. I will keep this ticket open for the next two days and close it. Whoever affected by similar issues may try this. – thanks

    Yes, we have seen something similar happening before. For some reason, sometimes Google tools take a few days (sometimes) to find that the issue is already solved. Just let us know after a few days if it is completely solved.
