I got the same problem as Francisco above. I tried multiple solutions. Nothing really works. Got the problem for at least a couple of weeks or so. So far I been looking into the sitemap settings, cleaning/deactivating WP-rocket (including the caching files on the hosting provider) and deactiving all plugins.

This is a common error that occurs when either the sitemap is cached or Google is unable to process your sitemap file because of the the length of the queue.
If this problem does not resolve itself in couple of days, please disable the Rank Math sitemap and install the following sitemap plugin:
