  • Hello, we apologize for the issue you are facing with your English pages not being included in the sitemap. Since you are using the Polylang plugin, it’s important to ensure that your translated posts/pages are properly configured to be included in the sitemap.

Rank Math automatically creates a sitemap for all your posts, including translated ones. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Polylang Settings: Ensure that your English pages are correctly set up in Polylang and that they are marked as published.

    2. Sitemap Settings: Go to Rank Math > Sitemap Settings and make sure that the sitemap module is enabled for all languages.

    3. Submit the Correct Sitemap: Make sure you are submitting the correct sitemap index URL to Google, which should be something like `https://rankmath.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Manual-Action.png. This will include all language versions of your pages.

    4. Clear Cache: If you have any caching plugins active, clear the cache to ensure that the latest version of your sitemap is being served.

    5. Check for Conflicts: Sometimes, other plugins can conflict with Rank Math. You can use the Health Check plugin to check for any conflicts.

If after following these steps your English pages still do not appear in the sitemap, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further.

    Hello,

It looks like the /en pages are already added to your sitemap. Please check the screenshot in the sensitive data section for reference.

However, please note that the sitemap generation for multilingual websites is controlled by the translation plugin, not by Rank Math. We add the main language sitemap and then the translation plugin handles how the other pages are added to the sitemap, or if they should get added to the sitemap.

For more details on this issue, you can check this URL: https://rankmath.com/kb/translated-pages-not-in-sitemap/

Also, the Polylang plugin is still not fully compatible with Rank Math. We published a detailed guideline on how you can manually make this plugin compatible with Rank Math: https://rankmath.com/kb/polylang-compatibility/

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

    hello,

I did the changes but did them from cpanle as i wasnt allowed to change it from wordpress.
Can you check that it´s correct?

What will this guide do? It will just make it kompatible?
    Will everything be ok now?

I can see that today the sitemap is ok. So can i expect google to index the EN pages?
Will i be affected bad for SEO, or will everything be ok now?

    thanks a lot

    Hello,

Yes, the guide ensures Polylang is compatible with Rank Math, but Polylang still manages translations and sitemap entries.

If your sitemap now includes the EN pages, Google should be able to index them. However, indexing depends on Google’s process and other SEO factors. If everything is set up correctly, there should be no negative SEO impact.

    Hope that helps.

Is it possible from your side please to check that it looks ok?

    Hello,

We checked your sitemap but couldn’t find any issue there. Also, the /en pages are indexed on Google. Please check the screenshots in the sensitive data section for your reference.

In case, you still face any issues, you can let us know here so that we can check this further for you.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
