Empty Product-Category set to Index but Source-Code shows as No-Index

    Hello,

    we have several WooCommerce product categories which do not have any products assigned cause we are using them as Sales-Landing-Pages. However if there are no Products assigned to a category, the category will be set to “noindex” even if they are set to “index” on the edit of the category page.

    If i assign at least one product the noindex tag disappears and it will be set to index.

    The following is already active and did NOT Work:

    – include empty product categories in the sitemap
    – the categories I want to index is set to “index” in the Edit Category page

    Can you provide a good solution to that?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us and we regret the inconvenience caused.

    Could you please check if you’ve enabled the Noindex Empty Category and Tag Archives option from your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Global Meta?

    If yes, please disable it and see if that fixes the issue.
