Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
If you are adding your content using Elementor, you should use and consider the score shown on Elementor. The difference is because Elementor uses shortcodes to add some contents and this content can only be analysed while in Elementor but not in WP Editor.
On the issue with permalinks, could you please share sample screenshots of the issue so we can understand and guide you accordingly.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Thanks. Before the recent rank math update, the Elementor SEO score and the wp SEO score were the same. So I didn’t have to go back and forth to find out the SEO score. But since the recent update, things are not being carried over. I uninstalled rank math and then reinstalled it just to see if that was the problem, but it isn’t.
Hello,
That is weird, since if your content and theme haven’t changed, the score shouldn’t change, so your score in Elementor should be stable.
For now, the only way to get the exact score for Elementor is inside Elementor but I will send this thread to the devs so they know this feature is an important thing to work on.
Looking forward to help you.
Hi,
I have noticed this morning since RankMath update applied that editing post in elementor score drops from 80+ to 52 – suggests I need to add keyword at start – its there already, suggests I need to add images – they are there already, complains keyword density is 0 when it isn’t etc, etc. Posts were sitting at 85-89 on Thursday and I didn’t work on site yesterday so no changes. Either RankMath update has introduced bug or Elementor update has. Have tried disabling/re-enabling RankMath, have purged caches. Hopefully you can come up with a solution before I put new posts live tomorrow.
I am glad I am not alone on this.
I’m experiencing the same problem after I updated to the latest version
I am also experiencing this issue incorrect warnings in Rank Math whilst in elementor view.
Errors with reading focus keyworkd at the beginning or finding it in the content
not reading contect word count
focus wordin subheadings etc
links out
internal links etc
please resolve

Hi,
just updated to the latest version and the post I was working on yesterday now seems to give the correct score. Can’t comment on the other issues mentioned in the comments on the update but it appears the issue related to elementor content is fixed.
Thanks
The update is better now, the only thing that is not being carried over is the URL in elementor portion of the SEO. I can live with it, but Rank Math should work 100% if you want to start selling the Pro version. Just my thought.
All fixed for me, Thanks Rank Math team!
Trent can you eleborate a bit more do you mean the url to the page is different?
In the Seo section of the elementor building page, my permalink isn’t showing up. This then gives me an error in the basic SEO portion of the keyword not showing up in the URL. The URL is not showing up in the preview section. It’s stating that my URL is unavailable, but in the WordPress edit page, it is.
Sounds daft i know are you running any caching? Perhaps clear that?
refresh permalinks sometimes sorts issues like this?
I have refreshed my cache a few times in the past ten minutes. Still have the issues, but if it’s working on other sites other than mine, it could be an issue on my end.
