Elementor and Rank Math

    Hi. Hope all is well

I am attempting to improve the SEO of my pages, built with Elementor, using RankMath. One of the errors returned by RankMath is that my keyword does not appear in sub headings such as H2, H3 etc. However, in the Elementor page builder the keyword is found in headings with the H1 and H2 tags, but RankMath is not recognizing this. Could there possibly be anything that I am doing incorrectly to cause this? I have attached a screen shot to show the error I am talking about.

And a more general question. What is the best way to configure static pages such as home, about and contact. Since, for example it is difficult to use the keyword in the url or title, since it is not the purpose of the page. Also, what are the suggestions in terms of the schemas for pages such as home, about and contact? Should they be listen as none?

I am not sure if there are any tutorials on these follow on questions, if there are could you please let me know.

    Thanks

    Guy

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

1). Would you mind sharing a link to the affected page so that we can advise further?

2). You can configure the static pages just like other posts but please note that you don’t have to follow all the on-page tests since these are benchmarks and a failed score will not affect your SEO.
The home page, contact and about us page should have the localbusiness schema. Please take a look at this page for more info on this:

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

I have checked your link but I didn’t found the reason it is not working fine.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have tested it on your website and I was able to create a post with elementor, added a keyword, and everything was working fine as you can see in the screencast I have attached in the Sensitive Data section.

    Could you check it?

    Looking forward to help you.

    Hi Alberto

I see it is working well. Is there any reason why it would not be workingon the about page, could I have possibly configured the page incorrectly?

I did use Elementors heading widgets and set them as H2

Thanks for your help, much appreciated

    Hello,

In your about page you have several messages, let’s go one by one:

Focus Keyword does not appear in the SEO title“: That is because your page is called “About” (so you don’t fave the focus keyword “forex” there)

Focus Keyword not found in subheading(s) like H2, H3, H4, etc…“: I have seen you have several headings there with the keyword “forex”, but the problem is you added
in your headings. It doesn’t Rank Math to read the content well, so it doesn’t detect the content. If you divide that heading in several ones (one per line), you will see it works fine.

Also, I would like to say that you shouldn’t use
in headings since headings are intended to be just one line. For longer texts, you should use paragraphs blocks.

And also, I saw you are using an h1 heading. You shouldn’t since it is better for SEO to have only one h1 heading per page and the title page (in your case, the text About) is already an h1.

    Looking forward to help you.
