Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

You go to the main site, not to the subdomain, everything works on the main site, but not on the subdomain.

It seems that you have the Rank Math plugin active on the network and that might cause this issue because of the conflict of settings.
The correct way to use the plugin is to install it in the network but only activate it on individual websites so that each subsite has its own settings that can be imported and exported.
Please switch to individual site activation and try importing the settings again.
