Editing homepage description

    Hello,

    We have recently launched this new site but it had the wrong description at its homepage snippet. I edited it yesterday and requested re-indexing at Google Search Console.
    I understand this will take some time to update in search results.

    My problem is when sharing the site’s link on social media, like FB or Telegram, that include the homepage’s preview with the header image and the description because it gets an erroneous text.

    Is there a way to accelerate this change of description text so that it gets the correct one when sharing the site’s link on social media?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    We’ve checked your homepage’s description, and it already matches the og:description tag. This meta tag is where social media apps get the description to show when sharing the link.

    You can use this tool as well if you’re sharing through Facebook to clear the cache of the URL:
    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
