Edited snippets not saving

Hello. I am editing snippets on individual site pages with rankmath. I see the changes, the desktop preview shows my edit, and my page rating goes up. I click on update. When the page updates, the desktop preview is back to its default and my page rating drops back down. When I click on edit snippets again,
my edits are still there. But only when I edit that type will the default desktop preview copy be replaced with the edited snippet copy. If I hit update, it repeats the process. So bottom line: My edited custom title will not save, and my page rating does not reflect the change either. Please help me solve this issue.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Please check if you are using a Firewall, as there are chances that it will prevent saving the data. You can check this link for more information:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/meta-data-not-saving/

I hope this helps. Looking forward to helping you.

Thank you for your response. I am not using a firewall. I disabled my host security plugin just in case, and that did not solve the problem. Are there any known plugins that have caused this problem? **I just checked my other bus site, and am seeing that it now seems to have the same issue.

    Hello,

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

We really look forward to helping you.
