Whitelisting the route should fix the issue.

Thank you for your response Anas however I am not using a firewall and I wouldn’t know how to whitelist anyway.

You can reach out to your web host and they would be able to assist you in whitelisting the route mentioned by my colleague.

thank you for your reply to my question but just to clarify, it isn’t that the data isn’t saving, it is that I am unable to place my curser in the box to edit the description.
