Edit Snippet with Arabic language

Hi, this is regarding the Edit Snippet part where you can alter what description is shown on Google searches result pages. With my page in draft mode, I typed in Arabic in the snippet, but as you know, the resulting text is jumbled up, and the Google previews show the Western way (LTR) instead of Arabic way (Right-To-Left).

When the post/page is finally published, can it be guaranteed that the final text will result in the proper RTL text pattern, consistent with what was entered originally?

    Thanks!

  • Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

The first step is to check if your title/description is properly set up in the page source:
    https://i.rankmath.com/HwXR1o

You can use this tool for the same as well: https://www.heymeta.com/ or this Google simulator: https://technicalseo.com/tools/google-serp-simulator/

If it is shown correctly here, then there is nothing to be worried about and your meta should be shown correctly.

Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know.

Hi Michael, thanks a ton for your reply. However, the tools that you have provided all still only show me the results of what things look like from a Western (Roman alphabet) perspective, as things still appear in LTR format.

Can Rank Math suggest any other tools that gives a correct reading for RTL languages (notably Hebrew and Arabic) for the Google snippet?

    Hello,

To be able to edit your content in an RTL language, you should have your WordPress site language set to a language that supports this in WordPress dashboard > Settings > General.

If you have tried this and this still won’t work for you, please share a sample URL that we can check from our end in the sensitive section.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
