Hi,
When saving a specific page, the “Edit snippet” data including meta description, etc. doesn’t get saved. It’s only for that specific page. I’ve updated both RankMath and WordPress and it doesn’t work.

Hello’
Thank you for getting back to us.
The credentials still do not seem to be correct. Would you mind updating them? You can provide them in the format of Username: XXX Password: XXX.
Alternatively, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
Hi Brian,
The user credentials do work.
Hello,
Thank you for the update.
I’ve tried checking your site, but it seems it’s already working fine and the Advanced Custom Fields PRO plugin is also activated. I’ve attached a screencast in the sensitive data section.
Could you please confirm if this issue is already resolved? Or any steps I’ve missed upon replicating the issue?
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Are you kidding me?
Here’s the quote from my ticket, when I posted a week ago:
“When saving a specific page, the “Edit snippet” data including meta description, etc. doesn’t get saved. It’s only for that specific page.”
It’s the meta description, page title, etc. that doesn’t work.
Not the focus keyword…
Hello,
Thank you for the update, and apologies for that.
I’ve already replicated the issue that is only happening on that specific page.
However, I’ve already raised this to our dev team for further investigation and will get back to you shortly. We really appreciate your kind patience regarding this matter.
Meanwhile, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime to assist you further with anything else.
Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
Our team tried checking your site, but it seems the login credentials are not working again. Could you please update so we can further investigate?
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hi,
Have you resolved the problem yet? It’s been almost two weeks.
Exactly, still asking for tickets!
The issue still there and there is no fix what the hellHello,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Are you using the “Banks page” field group on any other page? The issue seems to be coming from this field group conflicting with the save method of Rank Math.
@Oscar If you are experiencing similar issues please open a support ticket from our account so we can debug the situation further on your website. It’s better to deal with each issue separately because at the moment we can’t say that your issue is related to this one.Looking forward to hearing back from you.
No, I am not. Only on that page.
Hello,
That’s exactly what I suspected, one of the fields on that group is conflicting with Classic Editor and doesn’t let you save the metadata from Rank Math.
You can test this by disabling the Classic Editor temporarily and then try to save the settings in the “Edit Snippet” section of Rank Math.
Since this is a very specific use case I’m not sure a fix is possible because this only happens with those field groups and those specific plugins enabled, however, I will escalate the issue and if a feasible solution is found we’ll get back to you.
In the meantime, you can work around this by disable the Classic Editor and use the default WordPress editor to save the metadata.
If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Hi Miguel,
The weird thing is though that the same template works if I create a new page and do the same…
Hello,
Thanks for getting back to us.
I logged into your website to further debug the issue and noticed that the page is now updating the SEO metadata fine. https://i.rankmath.com/PPlFDE
Did you make any changes to make this page work again?
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Hi Miguel,
Our developer may have changed something, but it’s just great that it works now – thanks!
Hello,
Thank you for the update.
We are glad it is already working now.
If the issue still persists or you have any other concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime by creating a new ticket to assist you further with anything else.
Thank you.
