Each sitemap link contains 200 urls

    Hello,

    the default limit for the number of urls in a sitemap in 200. Can we increase it? to what recommended number can we increase the urls in the sitemap.
    If I increase the number of urls in sitemap, how will it affect the existing sitemap? will it cause any issues?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    We’ve observed that Google responds better to smaller pages in sitemaps we recommend links per sitemap to be 200. However you can increase the number of URLs in Rank math > Sitemap setting > General
