Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with duplicate title tags on your client’s staging website due to Rank Math. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
To fix the duplicate title tag issue caused by Rank Math, you can follow these steps:
-
Identify the Culprit:
- Install the Health Check and Troubleshooting plugin by going to WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Add New.
- Activate the plugin.
-
Enable Troubleshooting Mode:
- Go to Tools → Site Health → Troubleshooting and click Enable Troubleshooting Mode.
-
Enable Rank Math:
- Navigate to Plugins → Installed Plugins and click Enable while troubleshooting under Rank Math SEO and Rank Math SEO PRO.
-
Activate Your Theme and Plugins:
- Activate your theme from Appearance → Themes and check if the theme is adding duplicate meta tags.
- If the theme isn’t responsible, enable your plugins one by one until you find the plugin causing the issue.
If you identify Rank Math as the culprit, you can adjust its settings or contact Rank Math support for further assistance.

Hey Team,
Are there any updates on this?
Thanks,
Selda
Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
The duplicate title could be coming from one of the plugins or the active theme.
However, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
Hi Reinelle,
Thank you for your response.
Would it be possible for us to switch to email communication instead of this Ticket threat and include all relevant parties? We’d like our client, as a PRO user, to contact you directly about the logins and any further questions.
Could you please share an email address where our client & we can contact you?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Best,
Selda
