Google is Ranking both your category and post for the search term because it finds them both relevant and having content that matches the Search term. Please note that that most of the category related SEO data is taken from the pages/post included in the category.

The best you can do is optimize your category and posts to match specific search/keyword.

Which redirect do you wish to have?

If you are referring to removing the category from ranking for the post keyword, you can choose to remove the post from that specific category or change the category order to have a different post appearing first in the category and this should be updates as soon as google updates your site data on the SERPs.

Even with Rank Math disabled (so no redirections from the plugin enabled), the link is redirecting so it seems like it is an issue from some other plugin you have.

I wanted to check but the access seems to have expired. It is likely the wordpress is coming from your htaccess settings.

Please go through your rewrite rules to check fir any that might be causing the redirection.
