Please ignore, this is for a different account.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Please make sure that you’ve connected the correct Google account and not connecting to Google Search Console via a domain property but rather a URL prefix and that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).
If the issue still persists, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hi,
Even though the connection was made successfully, however, i have not been able to collect any data. Its been running for almost 2 weeks now:
1. Keeps prompting to reconnect, even though it shows connected
2. When i click on reconnect, it only gives the insecure url, when it is configured with https insteadPlease see the screenshot – https://imgur.com/a/BRZhNBF
Hello,
For initial troubleshooting, you can try to follow this guideline and see if that works for you: https://rankmath.com/kb/delete-old-analytics-data/
If the issue still persists, please follow the steps below to create a troubleshooting log so that we can check the issue further for you.
1. At first add the following filter to your website:
add_filter( 'rank_math/analytics/log_response', '__return_true' );
Here is a guide you can follow to add the filter:
https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/2. After adding the filter, please run the pending Scheduled Action from your WordPress Dashboard > Tools > Scheduled Actions > Pending or you can try visiting the following URL:
https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/tools.php?page=action-scheduler&status=pending
This is how it should look like:
When some actions have completed running, please check the Analytics log under
wp-content/uploads/rank-math
and share that with us. You can upload the log file using this tool.Regarding the connection issue, please head over to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > General and make sure there are no mismatches in the WordPress URL and Site URL in those options.
After that, please try disconnecting and reconnecting your Rank Math account to see if this resolves your issue.
If the issue still persists, you can try adding the following filter on your website and then try reconnecting to your account again.
add_filter( 'rank_math/registration/do_url_check', '__return_false' );
Here is a guide you can follow to add the filter:
https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
I’ll try this, however, i’d like to know what all rank_math tables do we need to replace/update when doing selective deployments from staging to production?
Is there an update on this? We have deployment tonight.
Thank you!
Hello,
Apologies for the delay as we prioritize older tickets, and whenever you post a reply here, your ticket is getting bumped to the top.
However, if you’re going to push your staging site to production, you won’t need to modify any database tables from Rank Math.
All the Rank Math settings and data are stored in your database, and when you push all data from the staging to the live site, the settings will be migrated as well.
Looking forward to helping you.
