There seems to be a limitation to using Baidu outside Chine and that is not something we can overcome from our end.
For further troubleshooting on how to create an account with Baidu, you would need to revert back to their support or forums specialized in this matter.
The KB we gave for Baidu is more geared toward our Chinese users which use that Search Engine extensively.

I have Android and as you can see from the comments, anyone with this OS is stuck. I’ve watched other videos, but they want the phone number.
Even Baidu gave links not for android.
