Hey rankmath team i’m few questions in my mind.

Q1. Like i have one product link is this – https://unleashedpremium.com/product/lyrical-lemonade-t-shirt/

and this product have few varient example link is this – https://unleashedpremium.com/product/lyrical-lemonade-t-shirt/?attribute_pa_color=white&attribute_pa_size=m

what i want to know while indexing on google. parent product is shown as indexed while variation is not indexed and it throws error in search console.

what google recommend should we index child product also? or just parent product?

if google recommend parent product indexing only then how t remove those url from search console?

And how can i remove product filters url’s, product sorting url’s, product variations url’s , search url’s

Q2. In my store there are 930 Products but in my google search console snippet section of product snippets i see only 51 Valid snippets and all other snippets are not there not even in invalid section. where are they?

I check the code and snippets are there in url but google not displaying it why so? and my site is pretty old 2 years or more

and same happening with my reviews snippets i have 80+ reviews but google only shows 9 valid review snippets. i’m using judge me plugin for reviews schema

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve checked your site, and it seems that you’re using Rank Math PRO but the account you have used to open this ticket is the Rank Math free version.

Can you please search and forward a receipt from FastSpring.com or the email address you used to purchase so we can locate your account and verify it?

Please note that we don’t offer support for nulled or cracked plugins as we explain here: https://rankmath.com/kb/rank-math-pro-nulled/

Regarding your question, yes, product attribute and tag pages should be set to noindex so that they don’t dilute your SEO efforts. If tag pages are set to index there will be a lot of repetition of the same keywords which will cause duplicate content issues with search engines as well as compete for keywords with more important product pages.

You can use and customize the filter in this similar ticket to set them to noindex.

About your products, all of them are stored in a single sitemap. Google crawls small-sized sitemaps faster. With this in mind, Rank math uses the links per sitemap limit to break down sitemaps into smaller parts. You can also check Google’s guidelines for sitemaps:
    https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/sitemaps/build-sitemap

Please set your Links per sitemap between 200 and 500 in Rank Math > Sitemap Settings > General

    Links

Once done, remove all your submitted sitemaps and resubmit your main sitemap, then give Google some time to recrawl your site.

Also, please share the affected product URLs with the review schema issue so we can check as well.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.
