    Rank Math free

We are struggling to identify how Rank math actually works as it relates to the titles & meta descriptions being displayed on SERPS. We are HIGHLY considering cancelling our services and moving to Yoast if we don’t have some clarity, resolution or assistance in ensuring we are not wasting our time any further.

  • Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

Please make sure that Rank Math is correctly adding the title/description meta on the page source. You can access the page source by following this guide.

You may also check the page in our SEO Meta tag analyzer tool: https://rankmath.com/tools/meta-tag-analyzer/

If the meta information is generated correctly by our plugin, then Google may have chosen a different information from the content to ensure it aligns with the search intent or Google simply hasn’t seen the changes yet so you’ll have to wait for Google to recrawl the page/post.

Please note that it is a pretty common thing with Google these days. It happens with 70% of the results that even if everything’s fine, Google decides to show a different meta information for your search keyword, there is nothing you can do as Google sometimes ignores the custom meta info altogether and show something from the page’s content that matches the search intent better.

To understand more about this, please check this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/

    Looking forward to helping you.
