Hello,
Thank you for getting in touch.
I checked your site and the reason the images are opening on your second site is because the images are added as links(<a href"imglink"><img/><a>
). This is likely related to the theme you are using or if you are using a page builder on your pages.
The previously Media
option was changed to Attachment
tab. Please refer to this article: https://rankmath.com/kb/titles-and-meta/#media
Hope this helps you.
Thank you.
Thank you for your help
Now I see 2 options:
1. Some plugin is adding “a href” before “img”
2. or new version of wordpress
When I edit photo there is link added, and when i delete this link everything is okay but I have to do it manually everytime I add photo to a post
there is no possibility that rank math can do that?
Hello,
Thank you for keeping in touch with us.
You mentioned “Some plugin” that is adding the anchor element (<a href=...
), can you please tell us what plugin is that?

If the issue persists after deactivating Rank Math, please contact your theme author or your page builder support regarding this issue.
We are looking forward to helping you.
I think it is new wordpress editor issue. In older posts clicking on image is not possible, for example here: https://uniqueseo.pl/programy-partnerskie/
right now it is automatically adding hyperlink to photos from wordpress block editor so in my opinion non of plugins/theme can affect that.
I made short vid from phone:
https://youtu.be/rrehRidHd3Q
but when for example I add “media and text” everything is working fine and I can not click on image. It happens even in the same posts.
for example: https://uniqueseo.pl/co-to-jest-blog/, here you can not click “media and text”, but you can click on “normal image”.
So as I showed you on youtube video when I add “image” it is automatically set to hyperlink and I have to manually delete it on every image.
I opened similar thread on WP official forum and we will see.
Anyway, thanks to Michael Davis for spotting mistake! I could not find it
