display breadcrumbs on Storefront

    Hi

    My site is http://www.watersportswarehouse.co.za
    I would like to use your breadcrumbs. I am currently using them via your shortcode, and a “below header” area of my theme. However, I cannot use this anymore, so I’m looking at adding the “code snnippet” into my child theme.
    I read your notes, and I need to:
    Next, you should add the following code to the appropriate location in your theme’s template file to display the breadcrumbs.
    /**
    * Use the following code in your theme template files to display breadcrumbs:
    */
    <?php if (function_exists(‘rank_math_the_breadcrumbs’)) rank_math_the_breadcrumbs(); ?>

    However.. I don’t know which file to add this to.
    I’m using storefront theme (which is pretty common). I don’t see a “single page template” file, so not sure which file to use, or where to add it..?

    can you assist?

    You can use the code inside a template file like header.php or single.php file of your active theme.

    If you’re unable to find those files on your theme, we can also check your site.

    It seems that your storefront is your actual homepage. Could you please confirm?

    Also, the breadcrumbs are already showing fine on your products. I’ve attached a screenshot in the sensitive data section.

    Meanwhile, I have manually added the Rank Math shortcode to display breadcrumbs on your homepage:

    I see you have added code to single.php. However…

    I don’t see what you see????? Please see my screenshot.

    Then on home page I see you’ve added the shortcode. I removed this, as I don’t want the breadcrumb on the home page. I only really want it on woocommerce pages, but I can probably live with them on blog pages..

    lets not get confused… when I talk of storefront , I’m talking about the Storefront WordPress Theme.
    But yes, my homepage, does contain links to my entire product range.. I’m not a blog, we are a ecommerce selling site. Below the links I chat about about us, and featured stuff, but yes, it’s not a very graphics / branding site…

    BTW, I am a pro user, but somehow could not raise a pro ticket..? Not sure why. Typically I don’t pay for plugins, on MY email, it is usually via s****@w*************************…? So, maybe thats why I’m showing as a free user, but you can see that the domain watersportswarehouse.co.za is attached to rankmath Pro..

    Hello,

    I have removed the code from the single.php and have added it to the header.php file and now the breadcrumbs are working fine on your site.

    And to open a ticket in the PRO forum, you will need to log in to your Rank Math account using the email that you had used to purchase the PRO subscription.

    Please check the breadcrumbs and let us know if you need any other assistance.
