Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support.
Those are for the attachment pages and you do not want to index them as those are thin content pages.
Just make sure the following options are set to On and your images will be marked to get indexed:
Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know.
I already did this. My problem is that since I installed Rank Math, the number of images indexed by Google, from the sitemap I submitted, is dramatically decreasing. Any solution?
Hi Gica,
We are sorry about that.
You need to disable the option to Redirect Options to Parent.
You can do that from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Links.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Hello, I am a bit confused here.
In your step by step tutorial, you recommend to turn on the Redirect Attachment, and it your other tutorial you also recommend to turn on the image sitemap. The two features are mutually exclusive isn’t it? Please correct men if I am wrong.
Hello,
Yes, that is our recommendation to turn on the redirect attachment to the parent. But, on this particular ticket, the user wanted to keep attachments enabled and hence the solution was offered for that.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
