Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Just to understand you correctly you want the individual items in the category to bear the string: Discover the novelties of the objects of the home:
then after that, you need them to display the title off the post.
If this is the case you can have them set up in the global title and meta options. However, you can not set these posts for a specific category. If you wish you can enable this you might have to edit the titles on individual posts items in that category.
If I go to the furniture category the title tag should be: Discounted prices on (article title)
As for this, you can not call an actual article in a category. This is because the categories act as taxonomies that have many items within them. This can only be done within the specific items only.
You can always make use of the variables here to call new elements on your posts: https://rankmath.com/kb/variables-in-seo-title-description/
Hope this helps. We really look forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hi Brian,
I have seen and know the Variables in the SEO Title but I have seen that if you set them up in the articles section then it takes those for all articles for all categories.
I would like to differentiate the Variables in the SEO Title based on the individual categories, did I explain myself better?
thanks alot
stefano
Hello,
Thank you for the update, and sorry for the delay.
Could you please check this screencast I’ve created if we are understanding your concern correctly?

I would like to differentiate the Variables in the SEO Title based on the individual categories
I’ve used the variable %category%
so it would show the category of the post where it belongs.
If that didn’t help, you can also take a screenshot using this tool or record a video screencast using a tool like Loom showing the issue and edit the first post on this ticket in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.
I hope that helps. Thank you, and looking forward to your update.
Hi Reinelle, thanks for your help but I made myself ill.
I try with an example to explain my need.
Imagine you have two categories:
furniture
garden
Within these two categories have hundreds of articles.
I would like the title tag in the articles present in one of the two categories to be: article name + other words
The articles in the other category instead the title tags should be: article name: month, year and other words
I saw that you can customize the title tags in the general configuration of the plugin but in this way I would have a custom title for all the items of all the categories, but I would like to have them different according to the category.
Did I explain myself better?
thanks a lot

Hello,
Thanks for getting back to us.
There’s currently no way to set up different titles based on the category of the posts unless you edit the titles for the page/post yourself by hand.
Hope this helps clarify your query.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
