Difference client website and personal websites

    Hello,

    In my company we are doubting to buy rankmath but we want to know the difference between client websites and personal websites. Can we add the plugin to all the domains we own? Is this based on the owner e-mail or can an editor also be the owner?

    Personal Websites

    Personal websites are those that you own 100%. This includes any website that you have complete control over, whether it’s a blog, portfolio, or business site. You can use the Rank Math PRO plan on unlimited personal websites.

    Client Websites

    Client websites are those that you do not own, meaning they belong to someone else or a business that you are managing on their behalf. The Rank Math PRO plan cannot be used on client websites unless you have a Business or Agency plan, which allows you to manage up to 100 or 500 client websites, respectively.

    Ownership and Email

    The ownership of the Rank Math license is tied to the account that purchased it. If you own the license, you can use it on your personal websites. However, if you are managing client websites, the Business or Agency plan is required. An editor cannot be considered the owner unless they have purchased the license themselves.

    Hi,

    Sorry but it’s still not 100% clear. Which permission in WordPress do you need to “own” the websites?
    Do you need to be Administrator? Editor? Something else?

    Thank you for contacting the support.

    Personal websites are the ones you own 100% and not a client website or a partnership with someone. A personal website can be a business, earn you money and you can even sell it to anyone but it needs to belong to you.
