I’ve written about the problem over and over again to the Search Console community, but they seem more inexperienced than me. I’m convinced that I have problems with the sitemap and maybe also with the robots.txt, since Search Console keeps showing that type of error.
I sent feedback to Search Console, I hope they will investigate the issue and contact you if necessary. I cannot do more than what I have done, I see that it is a technical problem.

You cannot do a live test of the sitemaps on Google Search Console. That feature is only designed for pages of the website and not XML sitemaps, since the XML sitemaps are not set to be indexed, only their content will.
