  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing. To delete a URL that you have submitted using the IndexNow feature in Rank Math, you can submit the URL again with a 404 or 410 status code. This informs search engines that the content is no longer available. When you delete a post or page, Rank Math automatically handles this for you by submitting the appropriate status code.

If you need to manually remove a URL, you can also go to Rank Math SEO → Instant Indexing → Submit URLs and submit the URL you want to remove, ensuring it returns a 404 or 410 error.

Thank you for raising this concern! If you have any further questions or need assistance, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

    Hello,

Could you please confirm if you want to remove any URLs submitted via IndexNow? If so, unfortunately, this is not possible. IndexNow is an API used to notify search engines such as Bing and Yandex about the publication, update, or deletion of URLs.

Once a URL is submitted through the IndexNow API, the status is automatically sent to the search engines and cannot be removed.

We hope this clarifies the process. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions.

    Thank you.
