1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server.

It works after flushing the sitemap cache.
I also added the sitemap urls in WP Rocket to exclude them, I hope it will work automatically in the future.

Sure usually the updates are blocked by caches and that is why you experience such 404s and at times delays on updates.
Always flush the sitemap and ensure that the caches are not blocking the sitemap. At times updating your permalinks may help as well.
