‘Default Kit’ in SEO Preview

    Rank Math free

When editing a page using Elementor Pro, if I visit SEO tab, the Preview shows the article title as ‘Default Kit’.

This happens for all my Posts and Pages.

When trying to edit the snippet The Title textfield contains the following values:
    %title% %sep% %sitename%

%title% is translated into Default Kit.
Not sure where this is coming from and whether it’s true.

This affects the SEO score because it expects it to be ‘Default Kit’.

I am using Rank Math SEO, Elementor + Elementor Pro and LiteSpeed Cache plugins.

  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with the SEO preview showing ‘Default Kit’ as the article title. This can happen if the default settings for your SEO titles are not configured correctly in Rank Math.

To resolve this, you can check and update your SEO title settings:

    1. Go to Rank Math in your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Navigate to Titles & Meta.
    3. Under the Global Meta tab, ensure that the Title field is set correctly. You can customize it to something more relevant than %title% %sep% %sitename%.

If you want to set specific titles for individual posts or pages, you can do this directly in the Rank Math meta box when editing each post or page. Make sure to click on the Edit Snippet button in the SEO tab of Elementor to customize the title and description for each page.

Here’s a helpful guide on how to edit your homepage and other pages directly: Homepage SEO Settings via Meta Title and Description.

If you continue to experience issues or if this does not resolve the problem, please reply to this ticket with your site URL, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!
