Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Can you please check on your website’s page source if the correct meta title and description were rendered?
You can use this tool for the same as well: https://www.heymeta.com/
If it matches your settings, then you must check if Google has seen the changes already or not.
For that, please check when the Google cache was updated for that page:
a.
b.
If the cache date is from before adding the new meta title/description, then you just have to wait for Google to re-crawl and re-index the page with the new info.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
thank you for the help. I followed the steps but it did not help. The title and the description are in the page source. I also waited till now. Still the I look for my page in Google it only shows my url
Hello,
Thank you for keeping in touch with us.
Upon further checking your website URL, I can’t seem to find it on the Google search page. I also tried using a VPN to search in Germany and still your website is not visible on Google. Please check the screenshot I inserted in the Sensitive Data section.
Could you please check your WordPress settings and see if “Search engine visibility” was enabled? Uncheck it if it does. You can head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Reading
Furthermore, try to resubmit your website to Google Search Console, give it a couple of days, and see if your website’s SERP has been updated.
Let me know how it goes. We are looking forward to helping you.
thank you for the quick reply. The checkbox is unchecked. I already made that sure in the first step. My website is also connected to the google search console. Any other ideas what could be the cause of the problem?
ThanksHello,
Please note that it is completely normal for a newly published post/page/website to take time before it gets crawled or indexed by Google. It depends on a lot of factors. Your posting frequency + the domain authority are just two of the many factors Google considers when indexing some new URL. Google assigns a crawl budget to your website depending on these factors (especially these two) and that has a direct effect on how soon or how late your content can get indexed.
You can also check for
noindex
tag here to rule out that your page isn’t getting indexed due to a mistake in plugin settings:
https://smallseotools.com/meta-tags-analyzer/If
noindex
is not present, then it is just a waiting game before Google decides to include the URL in the index. No SEO plugin can force Google to index something they don’t want to.With that said, we have found that barring any issues like copied/DMCA/low-quality content issues – Google usually indexes posts within a week or two. So, we request you to kindly wait.
Google even says that on their official website:
https://i.rankmath.com/QB4DhlThe above screenshot was taken from this page:
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/7552505#missing-jobsSo, you have to be a bit patient and allow it some time. If your website isn’t indexed even after a week, you can place a manual indexing request here:
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9012289Finally, it all boils down to the quality of the content, and if your content improves Google’s overall search index.
Please check this article where one of the Google employees mentioned:
“If your site relies on manual index submission for normal content, you need to significantly improve your site. Search console does not fix your site, you need to do that yourself.” – JohnMu

thank you for the help. Great service
