Cron Job database errors

    Hello,

I’m having an issue on my site where cron job files are being created but never deleted. We had to manually delete thousands of these files. According to one of the plugin’s support that I use, they have stated:

“Our technical team has investigated the issue and found that the errors are being caused by a third-party plugin called “SEO by Rank Math”. According to the server logs, this plugin is creating a large number of cron job files and database errors due to a fatal error in its process.

Please note that there are no errors related to WPL, and the issue is entirely linked to the “SEO by Rank Math” plugin’s cron jobs.

We recommend disabling this plugin temporarily or reaching out to its support team for a fix.”

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We rely on Corn Jobs for some tasks like fetching Analytics data from the GSC and GA accounts, importing and exporting, etc. But it should not create thousands of them.

In this case, can you please share a screenshot of the Corn jobs so that we can check the issue further for you? You can use any image-sharing tool like https://imgur.com/upload to share the screenshot with us.

    Looking forward to helping you.
