Crocoblock’s JetEngine compatibility issues

    Rank Math free

    Hello,

I’ve just finished developing a website and was about to start doing SEO. I use Rank Math for my project. I realised that Elementor has recently changed the location where the Rank Math settings show up (now in a tab inside the editor), but when I tried editing this on a Custom Post Type developed using JetEngine, that tab doesn’t show up.

Could you please help me understand how can I set up and adjust the data for each particular post entry?

    Thank you in advance.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please confirm if you are currently editing in Classic editor in JetEngine’s CPT?

If you are, expand the “Screen Options” and ensure that “Rank Math SEO” is checked:

If the issue persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello Jeremy,

    Thank you for your response.

I wasn’t using Classic Editor but I found out where to access Rank Math settings. Unfortunately, I still can’t find RankMath settings for Archive posts.

That’s the only place where it’s not visible, which is linked with the Portfolio page.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Goncalo Sa

    Hello,

It seems that you are currently working on an Elementor template in which the SEO controls are disabled by default.

We went ahead and enabled it for you by following this guide.

The Rank Math SEO controls should now appear on that page/template editor.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hi Jeremy,

    Thanks for your quick response.

I can see what you’ve done, but still not sure if this works. The reason why I think that (and please correct me if I’m wrong), is because right now I can add SEO to the page with the URL https://hashtagmkt.com/?elementor_library=portfolio-archive

The page I want to add SEO to is https://hashtagmkt.com/portfolio , and I believe that by adding SEO to the first URL I’ll be trying to rank for the wrong page.

In theory, in the backend, I do not have a page or template called Portfolio because I have used the archive feature (if that makes sense).

    Kind Regards,
    Goncalo Sa

    Hello,

Yes, you would be ranking the template page instead which is why by default the SEO controls are disabled because we don’t recommend it.

Since the portfolio archive is dynamically generated, Rank Math may not be able to read it.

You may check this with JetEngine support on how to address this type of situation.

I also looked for some other tickets with similar concerns that might be able to give you an idea of the issue: https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/how-to-change-seo-data-when-using-jet-smart-filters-crocoblock/

If you further need our assistance, just let us know here.

    Thank you.

    Hello Jeremy,

    I hope you’re well.

I’ve now spent over 2 weeks finding a solution to the problem discussed on this ticket and spoke with you at RankMath, Elementor and also Crocoblock. Every single company is trying to push me around saying to talk with the other, and I still do not have a solution.

The team at Crocoblock says the way they have developed their CPTs is the same as any other CPT provider, and that RankMath should have a solution. I have attached what their agent said.

Can you help me find a solution here?

    Thank you in advance,
    Goncalo Sa

    Hello,

As we mentioned before since the archive page is dynamically generated and there’s no actual page ID value assigned to that we cannot attach our plugin to those pages.

We only attach the plugin to pages that actually exist on the database and have a unique identifier.

If you would like to use our plugin for archive pages you need to be creating them in the usual standard way from WordPress.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
