    Hello, could you please assist me with a new issue in Google Search Console? Over the last day or two around 5 articles that are review articles have popped up in Google Search Console with the following issues:

    Missing field “itemReviewed”

    Missing field “author”

    I believe this is some kind of caching bug. I have attached a screenshot of the affected pages. I also contacted my hosting provider and I was told to contact RankMatch as it is the cause of the issue.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    Please head over to your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Authors, and enable the Author Archives:

    Once done, clear your website’s cache and test the page again with the Rich Results testing tool and see if the issue gets fixed.

    In case the issue persists, please delete the Schema from that page and update the page. Then, add the Schema again and see if that helps.

    I can check that you are adding an empty Review Schema to the affected products and that’s showing the error in your GSC account:

    You should add a supported Schema type like Product if you want to add the review to the articles. However, the review plugin you are using is already adding the correct Schema with the review, so you can remove the Review Schema that you have added in our plugin and use the default Article Schema.

    Once done, validate the fix in your GSC account and wait for Google to recrawl your site.
