  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Can you please share your website’s recent error logs so we can determine what’s causing the critical error in your sitemap page?

You can follow this guide to enable debugging in WordPress
https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/ or you can get in touch with your web host, they will help you locate the log file.

Also, assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Here is a video you can follow as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcIWRhcUP2c

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi Jeremy,
I uploaded the debug log file info in the sensitive area, please check.

Also, here is a temp admin access account – have backups and you are good to go.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I’ve tried login to your site using the credentials you’ve shared with us.

But I was unable to login due to incorrect information. I’ve attached a screenshot in the sensitive data section for your reference.

Can you please update them with the correct one? So that, we can troubleshoot the issue and provide a solution to you.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

Apologies Sakib, I updated the PW just now, and tested it, now it works for sure.
    Thanks!

Hi Sakib, I saw that someone tried to log on, but s/he took the wrong username.
The correct one is ‘TEMP_Admin’ (and not just ‘Admin’).
    Below again the correct one:

    Hello,

I’ve checked your site and after going through troubleshooting steps, your post sitemap is working perfectly fine now. Here is a screenshot I’ve shared below for your reference:

As for the errors you’ve shared, those are coming from Elementor.

However, to resolve the issue, you may get in touch with Elementor support. Here is a URL I’ve shared below for your reference:
    https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/18884

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.

    Sakib,
You are the best – thanks so much!
    Noah

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hi Sakib,
Super sorry, but after updating the sitemap just now, the same problem came up.
I already re-installed the health check & troubleshooting plug you guys installed yesterday.
I will then get in touch with Elementor to check as well.

Would be so AWESOME if you could fix the issue one more time!
    Thanks a lot,
    Noah

    Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that the problem has come up once again.

Following a few steps of troubleshooting, I determined that the it’s WP TradingView plugin which is conflicting with Rank Math and affecting your post-sitemap.

Also, as your sitemap was cached, it wasn’t showing the updated result. Which is why I’ve excluded your sitemap from caching by adding the following filter in your active theme’s functions.php file:

     add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

But it is not recommended to add filters/hooks in your active theme’s funcitons.php file. Because, whenever you update your theme, you will lose every changes or modification that you’ve made on your active theme’s functions.php file.

We recommend either to use any plugin like Code Snippets or to add filter/hooks in your child theme’s functions.php. You can also create rank-math.php file to add filters/hooks by Rank Math.

Please follow the URL below to learn how you can add filters/hooks to your WordPress site:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

For your reference, I’ve attached a screencast in the sensitive data section.

However, in this case I’d like to suggest you to get in touch with WP TradingView plugin support to see if they can resolve the issue for you, as the issue isn’t coming from our end. Or you can simply deactivate the plugin to avoid any conflicts.

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.

Sakib, This is awesome, thanks so much. I deactivated the WP Tradingview plugin, now it works very well. Fantastic advise, thanks again.
    Noah
