Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/Please let us know if you find the culprit.
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
Looking forward to helping you.
Hi Michael,
It conflicts with Jobs For WordPress, I have spoken to their support already to see if it can be resolved. Unfortunately the specific error is related to RankMath according to my error logs.
Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for the reply.
I have raised this with our dev team and we will be getting back to you in a short while.
We appreciate your patience. Thank you.
Hi Michael,
Thanks so much for the quick response.
Hello Jonathan,
Could you please give us the steps to follow so we can replicate this issue?
If you are seeing this after entering a focus keyword, please share the focus keyword with us so we can take a closer look.
I believe this error is related to breadcrumbs. It conflicts with another plugin – “jobs for wordpress” which was updated to resolve an issue that was altering primary category of job posts. Now when I update and save that plugin it produces an error in RankMath.
Hello Jonathan,
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Also, here is some more info about when the error occurs.
In my wordpress dashboard, I go to Jobs For WordPress and edit the settings to update the primary page where jobs are displayed – I then hit “save” and it produces this error.
The Jobs for WordPress team updated their plugin because it was causing an issue with RankMath breadcrumbs. Essentially, the “primary page where jobs are displayed” setting also overrides the primary category for some jobs.
I have setup my breadcrumbs structure to include category, but it was not displaying correctly. That update by jobs for wordpress was supposed to resolve issue, but now it causes error in RankMath…
Have you had a chance to look into this?
Hi Jonathan,
Apologies for the delay.
We are checking this and we will be in touch in a short while.
We appreciate your continued patience. Thank you.
Thanks
Hello
The Job Listing Settings page throws error even after deactivating the Rank Math plugin. Please check the screencast I added in the Sensitive Data Section
Maybe some other plugin or your theme is conflciting with the Jobs plugin. I suggest you enable the WP_DEBUG in wp-config.php file to get the error details. By doing this you would know what exactly is causing the problem.
I hope that helps.
