  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the sudden drop in crawling requests for your website. It sounds like there could be several factors at play here.

    1. Blocked Crawling: Ensure that you haven’t accidentally blocked Google from crawling your site. Check your robots.txt file to confirm that it is not preventing Googlebot from accessing your pages. You can use the robots.txt testing tool to verify this.

    2. Indexing Issues: If your website is new, it may take some time for Google to index it. However, if your site was previously indexed and has now dropped, it could be due to other issues.

    3. HTTP Status Errors: The "HTTP status not found" error indicates that some of your pages may be returning a 404 error. This can happen if URLs have changed or if there are broken links on your site. You should check the URLs in your sitemap and ensure they are correct and accessible.

    4. Core Web Vitals: If core web vitals are not showing any data, it could be related to the crawling issues or that Google has not been able to access your site properly to gather this data.

    5. Maintenance Mode: If your website was under maintenance, it would also affect crawling. Make sure your site is live and accessible.

For further assistance, we recommend checking the status of your website using tools like httpstatus.io to see if there are any errors when crawled. If the problem persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope to help you resolve it soon!

    Hello,

Please note that Google assigns a crawl budget to your website depending on a lot of factors (especially your posting frequency + the domain authority) and we don’t have any control over this.

However, you can check this article on how you can increase your crawling rate: https://www.shoutmeloud.com/increase-google-crawl-rate.html

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
