    Hi there,

I created a Custom Post Type for recipes.
I can see the tab in the RankMath -> Sitemap settings -> Post Types section.

I checked the “Include in sitemap” option, and it gives me a sitemap URL.
But if I go there, it doesn’t exist.

If I check the global sitemap, I can see that it doesn’t contain the URL to my recipe’s Custom Post Type.

I deleted my cache and disabled Autoptimize (the only performance plugin I have).

How can I fix that to get a sitemap for my CPT ?

    Thanks for your support,
    Jeremy

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

As you are using a caching plugin It might be caused due to that.

You should add the following cache exceptions:

    /(.*)sitemap(.*).xml
    /(.*)sitemap.xsl

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

As I said, I disabled my cache plugin and it still doesn’t work.
Where should I add the cache exceptions you provide ?

    Thanks

    Hello,

I logged in and checked the website settings.

The recette-sitemap.xml seems to be working fine.

Check the screencast in the sensitive data section.

If it is not working on your end, please clear your browser cache and check the sitemap.

    I hope this helps.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hmmmm, indeed it works now.
When I tested, it was not working.

Is there any delay in generating the sitemap ?

    Hello,

No, there is no delay in generating the sitemap, the sitemap must be getting cached.

    Hello Anas,

Still sounds a little weird to me, because I had deleted the cache plugin and tested in incognito mode and it was not working.

But happy to see that it works now.

Thanks for your support Anas and Azib

    Hello Jeremy,
I have the same issue now – which caching plugin were/are you using? I am on WP fastest cache, but I have all urls containing sitemap excluded…
strange. It seems to me there is a delay with these new sitemaps.

    regards, Dirk
