Course Schema is now showing an error on Google Search Console

    Hi team,
    Hope all is well.

    A month ago we have implemented Course schema using RankMath. We’re using the free version, yesterday all the schemas on our courses now are showing 2 critical errors on Google Search Console. Missing field “offers” and Missing field “hasCourseInstance” .. Now we tried removing the schema and re-adding it. We also tried removing it altogether. Re-indexation was done after each step. Still showing these two errors on GSC. I checked the article “Resolving Rank Math Schema Markup Related Issues” in your Knowledge base, still it doesn’t offer a solution for free version users apart from the steps I tried. And our hosting doesn’t have cPanel to carry out the rest of the steps as per our web development team. So can I please get some help?

    We’re also facing an issue with Instant Indexing, although the API is setup correctly.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    This is due to Google’s recent update requiring those fields in the Course Schema:

    However, we have recently released a Beta version of the plugin that adds the fields where you can fill in those required data to fix the errors in GSC.

    Please try updating to the beta version of Rank Math by following this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/version-control/#beta-updates

    If you don’t see an update available, please go to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Remove Rank Math Transients > Remove transients. Then, clear your caches, server, and WordPress and check again.

    You can disable the Beta updates once you update to the latest version

    Regarding the Instant Indexing issue, please provide more details like the error message so we can check and advise accordingly.

    I will go ahead and try to install the beta version, and report back to you.

    As for the Instant Indexing error, it just says “Error submitting page to IndexNow.”

    Hi Reinelle,

    We tried turning on the beta opt-in yesterday, but we found the following message “You cannot turn on the Beta Tester feature because site wide plugins auto-update option is disabled on your site.” Would there be a chance you send us the beta version for us to download and install it manually?

    Also still waiting on the Instant Indexing issue recommendations.

    Regarding the IndexNow issue, can you please share what specific error code you are encountering while submitting URLs on Instant Indexing?

    You may try looking for the error code at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Instant Indexing > IndexNow History > Response.

    Hope you’re doing well.

    Thank you for providing the link of the beta version. I highly appreciate it.

    As for the Instant Indexing issue, it returns a “403” error. One of the troubleshooting steps we’ve done is change the API key altogether, and made sure it’s installed correctly by using the “Check Key” option in the API Key Location section.

    The URL should be working fine and publicly available to fix the 403 error in IndexNow.

    We have created a temporary access for you that requires no password. You can use the updated link in the sensitive data section.

    We did take a backup of the website, but as our website has a considerable amount of traffic and is constantly changing, we might need take another one right before you guys start.

    We need to reset the API key and manually create an API key text file in your website for it to work. Please check from the screenshot below as your Instant Indexing is now working as intended:
