Correcting inaccurate LocalBusiness schema

Hi! We’ve taken over SEO for a client here in Winnipeg, and the last folks attempting the job inputted some inaccurate schema. I’ve included the schema below in the “Sensitive Data” section.

I’ve gone through the process of updating the Local SEO info on Rank Math, but the new Schema hasn’t showed up in the HTML file. I can go and block edit if need be, but if there’s a solution through RankMath, I’d prefer to do it that way.

Is it possible the old Schema is blocking RankMath’s ability to inject new Schema? Let me know! Thanks 🙂

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

The schema (old) you have added in the sensitive data section is being outputted by one of your active plugins/theme. I’ve attached the result in the sensitive data section.

However, the schema data you have input in the Local SEO module is already nested under the Article schema on your homepage.

We recommend removing the HTML to avoid conflict with Rank Math’s schema generation.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.
